The mimosas that TCU alums Cathy and Barry Johnson brought to the TCU-OU Midnite Madness Tailgate earned them the coveted "Golden Frog" award.

On Monday morning after the TCU-OU weekend, the "Golden Frog" award was right at home in Cathy Johnson's purple-and-white adorned office.

A moment of silence was observed during TCU-OU pregame ceremonies as a tribute to Fort Worth Police Officer Garrett Hull, who recently was killed in the line of duty.

Former TCU basketball player Kenrich Williams, who recently made the roster of the NBA New Orleans Pelicans, was the featured celebrity in the Riff-Ram video. Watch here.

Since the TCU-Oklahoma football game was part of Homecoming, TCU alumni band members joined current band members in performing at the game.

TCU's captains for the game were (from left to right) Sewo Olonilua (#33), Ty Summers (#42), honorary captain Charles Davis, Kellton Hollins (#55) and Ben Banogu (#15).

The TCU-Oklahoma game matched the defensive genius of TCU head coach Gary Patterson (photo above) against the offensive genius of Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley (photo below). Once again, Riley and the Sooners got the better of Patterson and the Horned Frogs.

Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray (#1, photos above and below) completed 19 of 24 passes for 213 yards and four touchdowns against the Horned Frogs and defensive end Ben Banogu (#15, photo below).

Oklahoma running back Kennedy Brooks (#26, photos above and below) ran for 168 yards and one touchdown against TCU, including safety Vernon Scott (#26, photo above) and defensive end L.J.Collier (#91, photo below).

Oklahoma running back Trey Sermon (#4, photos above and below) ran for 110 yards and two touchdowns against the Horned Frogs, including linebacker Jawuan Johnson (#1, photos above and below).

TCU quarterback Shawn Robinson (#3) started against the Sooners but gave way early in the game to backup quarterback Michael Collins. Early in the week after the loss to Oklahoma, TCU head coach Gary Patterson announced that Robinson would have season-ending shoulder surgery and Collins would be the starting quarterback. Robinson, a sophomore, finished the season with 123 pass completions for 1,326 yards and nine touchdowns. He had eight passes intercepted. He ran the ball 49 times for 230 yards and three touchdowns.

After replacing starting quarterback Shawn Robinson against the Sooners, backup quarterback Michael Collins (#10) completed seven of 17 passes for 142 yards and two touchdowns. He had one pass intercepted. Collins rallied the Frogs in the first half to only trail Oklahoma 28-24 at the half. The Sooners outscored TCU 24-3 in the second half.

TCU quarterback Michael Collins (#10), who now is the Frogs' starting quarterback, ran for 36 yards against the Sooners, including defensive lineman Amani Bledsoe (#72) and defensive end/linebacker Mark Jackson, Jr. (#42).

TCU quarterback Michael Collins (#10) flips the ball to running back Emari Demercado (#21) who in limited action gained eight yards against the Sooners.

TCU running back Darius Anderson (#6) ran for 32 yards against the Sooners and defensive lineman Kenneth Mann (#55).

TCU running back Sewo Olonilua gained a tough 34 yards on the ground against Oklahoma.

In apparently his last game as a Horned Frog, TCU receiver/returner KaVontae Turpin (#25, photos above and below) scored two touchdowns against the Sooners. He had a 99-yard kickoff return for a touchdown (photo below) and he took a short pass from quarterback Michael Collins and turned it into a 41-yard touchdown reception. On the Tuesday after the Oklahoma game, it was announced that Turpin had been dismissed from the team because he had been arrested on Sunday (October 21) on a charge of assault with bodily injury of a family member. Turpin was booked and subsequently released from Tarrant County Jail. An arrest affidavit details an alleged altercation between Turpin and his girlfriend late Saturday night (October 20). Turpin also had been previously arrested in March in Las Cruces, New Mexico, for battery of a household member. However, full details of that incident apparently had not been disclosed and/or known by TCU.

Against the Sooners, TCU receiver Jalen Reagor (#1) had only one reception, but it was a 33-yard touchdown, which was his 12th career touchdown reception, tying him with Jeremy Kerley (2007-10) and Phillip Epps (1978-81) for 10th on TCU's all-time list. Reagor has at least one reception in his last 12 games, the longest current streak by a Horned Frog. He has a catch in 20 of his 21 contests at TCU.

TCU placekicker Cole Bunce (#27) had a pair of 41-yard field goals against Oklahoma and is now 4-of-7 on the season and 10-of-14 in his career.

TCU punter Adam Nunez (#29) had a season-long 52-yard punt against the Sooners.
