TCU-Iowa State Game Photos

Here come the Cyclones!
For the Iowa State game, TCU players wore black helmets, white jerseys and white pants.
Here come the Frogs!
(photos above and below) TCU's captains for the game were Alex Delton (#16), Ross Blacklock (#90), Garret Wallow (#30) and Cordel Iwuagwu (#70).
(photos above and below) TCU quarterback Max Duggan's (#15, photo above) homecoming to his home state of Iowa did not go well. Duggan scrambled on this play early in the second quarter against Iowa State. He was sacked and fumbled the football. Iowa State defensive end Eyioma Uwazurike (#5, photo below) recovered the football for a touchdown. The score stretched the Cyclones' lead to 14-3.
The Iowa State defense forced the Frogs to fumble twice. The Cyclones recovered both of the fumbles.
TCU quarterback Max Duggan (#15, photos above and below) completed 17 of 25 passes for 219 yards and two touchdowns in the 49-24 loss to Iowa State. Duggan added 34 net yards rushing.
(photos above and below) Against Iowa State, Alex Delton (#16) played sparingly in relief of TCU starting quarterback Max Duggan. Delton completed four of five passes. He ran for 12 yards.
(photos above and below) The Iowa State defense held TCU running back Darius Anderson (#6) to 49 net rushing yards and one touchdown.
TCU running back Sewo Olonilua (#33) netted only 13 yards rushing against Iowa State.
TCU receiver Jalen Reagor (#1) caught four passes for 69 yards and two touchdowns, including this score.
TCU receiver Dylan Thomas (#11) suffered a leg injury in the game against Iowa State. His injury required surgery. He may miss the remainder of the season.
TCU head coach Gary Patterson (center) saw linebacker Garret Wallow (#30) and the Frogs' defense get shredded by the Iowa State offense for 247 passing yards, 189 rushing yards and seven touchdowns in the 49-24 loss to the Cyclones.

(photos above and below) Iowa State quarterback Brock Purdy (#15) completed 19 of 24 passes for 247 yards and two touchdowns. He ran 12 times for a net 102 yards. Wide receiver Tarique Milton (#1) caught one of Purdy's passes, for a 30-yard gain against the Frogs.
Against the Frogs, Iowa State quarterback Brock Purdy (#15, photos above and below) ran for two touchdowns. Purdy accounted for four touchdowns in the game, one more than the Frogs scored in their 49-24 loss.
On this play in the first quarter, Iowa State tight end Chase Allen (#11) caught a one-yard touchdown pass from Iowa State quarterback Brock Purdy.
Iowa State running back Johnnie Lang Jr. (#4, photos above and below) ran 16 times for a net 72 yards and two touchdowns against the Frogs.
(photos above and below) TCU senior cornerback Jeff Gladney (#12) and Iowa State redshirt freshman wide receiver Joe Scates (#9) got into a scuffle late in the game. Officials and players had to separate them. Both players were assessed personal-foul penalties.
