The TCU men’s and women’s basketball teams have enjoyed a good stretch of games since the men opened their season on November 3 with an embarrassing 78-74 home loss to the University of New Orleans.
The men rebounded from that ugly loss with two home victories: 104-3 over St. Francis on November 6, and 78-65 over Lamar on Monday, November 10.
Through the three games, six Frogs are averaging in double figures in scoring per game: David Punch, 14 points; Micah Robinson, 12.7 points; Jayden Pierre, 12 points; Xavier Edmonds, 11.7 points; Jace Posey, 11 points; and Tanner Toolson, 10.7 points.

On November 6, the Frogs routed North Carolina A&T 82-43.
They steamrolled Sam Houston University, 88-46, on Sunday, November 9.
The Horned Frogs obliterated Tennessee State, 122-39, on Wednesday, November 12.
The 83-point margin of victory was the largest in TCU men's and women's basketball history.
The 122 points were second-most in a game vs. a Division I opponent in the women’s basketball program's 49 years of existence.
The Horned Frogs' win tied the record for the longest home winning streak in TCU basketball history at 27 games.
TCU’s 122 points were 50 points short of a collegiate women’s basketball scoring record.
On Tuesday, November 11, the Grace College Lancers, of Winona Lake, Indiana, set the record for most points scored by a women’s college basketball team in one game by defeating Ohio Christian 172-91. The previous points-scored record was 159 points.
However, TCU's 122 points are the third-highest in a “Division 1 vs. Division 1” game, thus far, in the 2025-26 season.
Through the first three games of the TCU women’s basketball season, four Frogs are averaging in double figures in scoring per game: Olivia Miles, 18.3 points; Donovyn Hunter, 17.7 points; Marta Suarez, 14.7 points; and Maddie Scherr, 10 points.
