TCU Women's Soccer Team Wins Big 12 Tournament Championship

 

The TCU women's soccer team followed up its recent second-consecutive Big 12 regular-season championship with its first Big 12 women's soccer tournament championship by defeating Texas 2-1.

TCU scored a pair of second half goals to erase a 1-0 halftime deficit to the Longhorns. Messiah Bright and Camryn Lancaster scored the Frogs' two goals. Lancaster had the game-winner.

TCU becomes the 10th Big 12 program to win the regular season and tournament crowns in the same season.

TCU is unbeaten in its last 11 games (9-0-2), matching a program record established during the 2020-21 season.

TCU (17-2-2) has earned the Big 12's automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament, marking its sixth straight season in the postseason.
