Kansas State Hiring North Dakota State's Chris Klieman as Football Coach

North Dakota State’s Chris Klieman will be the next head coach at Kansas State. He’ll replace Hall of Fame coach Bill Snyder, who stepped down at age 79 in the wake of a 5-7 season.

At North Dakota State, an FCS school, Klieman has gone 67-6 and won three FCS national titles since taking over the head job after the 2013 season. He is two victories away from winning another national title.

North Dakota State plays South Dakota State on December 14. If they win, the FCS title game is January 5 in Frisco, Texas.

Klieman will be replacing a legend at Kansas State. Snyder went 215-117 in two stints that spanned 27 seasons at Kansas State.
