TCU's Lettermen’s Association Becomes the Block T Association

Effective November 2, the TCU Lettermen’s Association became the Block T Association to better represent all of its members and become compliant with diversity, equity and inclusion standards at TCU.

With the rebranding, the Association is rebranding itself with an all-inclusive name that also pays homage to the “Block T” letter that has been awarded to student-athletes at TCU for more than 125 years.

The Block T Association is comprised of more than 1,000 former student-athletes who earned letters while playing their respective sports at TCU. The membership also includes current student-athletes at TCU, once they have received a varsity letter. More than 300 members of the Association are women. One-third of the Association’s Board of Directors is women.

The TCU Block T Association’s mission is to promote closer relationships and encourage social and professional enrichment of its membership across all sports and generations. Through a strong and active membership it is the Association's calling to preserve, maintain and nurture TCU's sports legacy and to inspire a culture of participation and philanthropy. The TCU Block T Association makes sure that TCU's winning and rewarding experience continues after graduation.

The Block T Association supports TCU student-athletes through mentorship programs and events related to the LaDainian Tomlinson Student-Athlete Development Program. It also assists alumni members through networking platforms and special events. Additionally, the Block T Association is responsible for administration and the election process for the TCU Athletics Hall of Fame.

The Block T Association's executive director is former TCU football player John Denton. The assistant director is Cam Fenton.
