TCU Basketball To Open 2020 Season in Hall of Fame Classic

Kevin Samuel (#21) returns to the TCU basketball team this season.

TCU men's basketball will open its 2020-21 season against Tulsa on November 28 in the four-team Hall of Fame Classic powered by Shot Tracker in the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

The other game on the 28th will feature Northwestern against South Carolina.

The event will conclude on November 29 with the consolation and championship matchups.

All games will air live on ESPN networks. Game times and networks will be announced.

Tulsa leads the all-time series with TCU, 21-12. The Hall of Fame Classic game will be the first meeting between the teams since December 21, 2013, when TCU defeated Tulsa, 70-58, in Fort Worth. TCU head coach Jamie Dixon, who enter his 17th season as a head coach and fifth at TCU, has never faced Tulsa.

Fans will not be allowed to attend the 2020 Hall of Fame Classic.

Part of the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame Weekend, the Hall of Fame Classic powered by ShotTracker annually is one of the top early-season college basketball tournaments in the country and provides a platform to celebrate the latest National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame induction class.

The event was established in 2001 by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). It is named after the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame and College Basketball Experience, an award-winning interactive college basketball fan facility that is adjacent to T-Mobile Center.
