TCU Athletics Giving: The three highest totals in overall athletics giving at TCU have come in the last four years. In Fiscal Year 2017, there was a new record-breaking Frog Club Annual Giving total of $13.2 million, with $31.9 million in overall athletics giving. This revenue helps cover rapidly rising financial aid and student-athlete development expenses.
TCU Frog Club: The TCU Frog Club is the principal fundraising arm of the TCU Intercollegiate Athletics Department. For more than 75 years, the Frog Club has provided a way for supporters to help talented TCU student-athletes receive a top-tier education while pursuing their goals both on and off the field of competition. While the primary focus is providing scholarship support for student-athletes, the Frog Club is also focused on raising money for facilities upgrades and high impact projects that directly benefit our student-athletes. TCU A Great Place to Work!: In 2018, for the eighth straight year, TCU has earned recognition as one of the “Great Colleges to Work For” from The Chronicle of Higher Education.
“We place our highest value in our people, fostering a community where our members are supported, challenged and encouraged to be their best—and this award accentuates the progress we are making,” said Chancellor Victor J. Boschini, Jr. “I am extremely proud of the work our faculty and staff do every day to make TCU such an outstanding institution.”
Evaluations take place in 12 categories: Collaborative Governance; Compensation and Benefits; Confidence in Senior Leadership; Diversity; Facilities, Workspace and Security; Job Satisfaction; Professional/Career Development Programs; Respect and Appreciation; Supervisor/Department Chair Relationship; Teaching Environment (Faculty Only); Tenure Clarity and Process (Faculty Only/Four-year Only); and Work/Life Balance.
This year, TCU is recognized in nine of 12 categories and made the Honor Roll, a designation given to the 10 institutions with the most recognition across all categories.
