TCU Football: Six Earn 2025 All-Big 12 Honors

Six members of the TCU football team have earned 2025 All-Big 12 honors.

Senior wide receiver Eric McAlister and senior linebacker Kaleb Elarms-Orr were named to the First Team.

McAlister also earned an Honorable Mention for Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year.

Senior defensive end Devean Deal, senior safety Bud Clark and junior safety Jamel Johnson eared Second Team accolades.

Deal also was an Honorable Mention for Big 12 Defensive Lineman of the Year.

Senior linebacker Namdi Obiazor was named an Honorable Mention.

McAlister had one of the best regular seasons in TCU receiver history in 2025. He is in second place on the single-season receiving yard charts with 1,121. He also eclipsed the 100-yard receiving mark six times this season, which ties Josh Doctson's 2015 mark for most in a single season in TCU history.

Against Baylor and West Virginia, Elarms-Orr was the first Frog to post consecutive 15-plus tackle games since at least 1995 (records do not go back further). For the season, he posted 119 tackles and 9.5 tackles-for-losses. He led the team in both categories.

Deal posted 50 tackles, 8.5 tackles-for-loss and 3.5 sacks.

Clark had 54 tackles and four interceptions. He moved up to fourth on TCU's career interception list with 15. He is All-Big 12 Second Team for the second consecutive season.

Johnson had 89 tackles, three tackles-for-loss and four interceptions during the regular season. Johnson and Clark tied for the team lead in interceptions.

Obiazor is an Honorable Mention for the second time in his career. He had 81 tackles, four tackles-for-loss and two interceptions during the 2025 regular season.
