Alabama, Michigan, Georgia, Cincinnati Top Four in Final College Football Playoff Ranking


The final 2021 College Football Playoff ranking was released on Sunday, December 5.

Alabama, Michigan, Georgia and future Big 12-member Cincinnati are the top four and will play for the national championship.

Cincinnati becomes the first team from a Power 5 Conference to be one of the four teams in the College Football Playoff.

Alabama and Cincinnati will play in the Cotton Bowl on December 31. Michigan and Georgia will play in the Orange Bowl on December 31. The two winners will play for the national championship on January 10 in Indianapolis.

Big 12 teams Baylor and Oklahoma State are ranked seventh and ninth, respectively. Big 12 traitor Oklahoma is ranked 16th. 

Future Big 12-member BYU is ranked 13th.

Baylor will play Ole Miss, in the Sugar Bowl, in New Orleans, Louisiana, on January 1, 2022. 

Oklahoma State will play Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Arizona, on January 1, 2022.

Oklahoma will play Oregon in the Alamo Bowl on December 29.

BYU will play UAB in the Independence Bowl on December 28.
