TCU football has lost co-offensive coordinator Curtis Luper and offensive line coach Chris Thomsen.

Luper has become the offensive coordinator of the Missouri football team.

Thomsen has become the deputy head coach of the Florida State football team.

Luper joined TCU’s staff in 2013 as a wide receivers coach. He switched to running backs in 2014. He was promoted to co-offensive coordinator in 2017.

Former Horned Frogs' football and baseball student-athlete Thomsen joined TCU's staff in February 2017 as the offensive line coach after spending four seasons at Arizona State. His previous stops included being head coach at Abilene Christian from 2005 to 2011, and the offensive line coach at Texas Tech in 2012.

Thomsen played football three seasons (1988-90) and baseball one year (1991) at TCU.

Reportedly, Thomsen will be replaced by Jarrett Anderson, who coached the offensive line (2014-2016) during his 23 years on Patterson's staff.

Anderson spent the last two seasons as inside receivers coach. He also has coached running backs.

Patterson now has openings for a running backs coach and an inside receivers coach. In addition, Luper served as a co-offensive coordinator with co-offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Sonny Cumbie.
