College football's first weekend of the 2019 season kicked off on Saturday, August 31, with ESPN's College GameDay in downtown Fort Worth's Sundance Square (photos above and below). Later that evening, TCU defeated Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 39-7, in Amon G. Carter Stadium, and Auburn defeated Oregon, 27-21, in AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Also in the area, North Texas defeated Abilene Christian, 51-31, in Denton.
