Two TCU Women Earn All-Big 12 Basketball Honors

TCU women's basketball players Jordan Moore and Amy Okonkwo have earned All-Big 12 honors. Moore was named to the All-Big 12 First Team and All-Defensive Team. Okonkwo earned All-Big 12 Second Team accolades.

This marks the fourth time in TCU's seven seasons in the Big 12 Conference that it has had multiple players earn All-Big 12 honors.

Moore becomes the second Frog in program history to be named to the All-Big 12 First Team. Zahna Medley claimed the honors three times (2014-16). Moore also is the third TCU player named to the All-Defensive Team. Latricia Lovings and Chelsea Prince previously earned spots on the squad in 2014 and 2015, respectively.

It is Moore's second time honored by the league after being tabbed as an honorable mention selection last season. Okonkwo has earned All-Big 12 Second Team accolades in consecutive seasons. She was named the conference's Sixth Man of the Year following the 2017-18 campaign.

Moore is the only player ranked among the top-five in the conference in scoring (fifth, 16.7), rebounds (fifth, 8.3), field-goal percentage (second, .601) and blocked shots (second, 2.4). She is on pace to shatter TCU records for single-season and career field-goal percentage. Moore has posted a dozen 20-point games this year and 10 double-doubles.

In conference action, Okonkwo is averaging 14.6 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. She is shooting a TCU-best 38.6 percent from 3-point range this season. She ranks second all-time at TCU with a career free-throw percentage of 84.2 percent. She is 12th on the all-time scoring chart with 1,201 points in her three seasons in Fort Worth.
