The TCU football team began spring practice on Friday, March 1. The Horned Frogs will have 15 practices, concluding with the annual spring "game" on April 6.
TCU, which holds the Big 12's longest active winning streak (three games), returns 12 starters (five defensive, seven offensive) in 2019.
Over the last five seasons, TCU's 47-19 overall record and 30-15 conference mark rank second in the Big 12.
TCU is one of six programs nationally to finish with an Associated Press top-10 final ranking in at least three of the last five years (2014, 2015, 2017).
TCU opens the 2019 season on August 31 versus Arkansas-Pine Bluff in Amon Carter Stadium in Fort Worth.
