The TCU rifle team claimed the overall NCAA team national championship on Saturday, March 9. It is the Horned Frogs' third national title in program history. TCU also won national team championships in 2010 and 2012.
Frog Kristen Hemphill took home the individual rifle national title.
TCU also earned the Smallbore National Championship, on Friday, March 8. This marked the second Smallbore National Championship in program history. The first won was won in 2013.
Frog Liz Marsh earned the Smallbore individual national title.
The Frogs won the 2019 team national championship with a score of 4,699, beating seven other teams. West Virginia came in second (4,692), followed by Air Force (4,687), Murray State (4,677), Kentucky (4,665), Army West Point (4,646), Navy (4,642) and Alaska Fairbanks (4,640).
