TCU Football Picked Fifth in 2021 Preseason Big 12 Poll

In the Big 12 Football Preseason Poll, Big 12 media representatives have picked TCU football to finish fifth in the 2021 Big 12 title race.

Oklahoma is the choice for the sixth straight year to win the Conference title. OU garnered 35 of 39 first-place votes and tallied 386 total points.

This year marks the ninth since 2011 in which the Sooners topped the preseason rankings. They have captured a Big 12-record 14 league titles, including the last six. 

Iowa State, last year’s Big 12 runner-up, received the other four first-place nods and finished in second with 351 points.

Texas (273 points), Oklahoma State (266 points) and TCU (255 points) rounded out the top five.

West Virginia (185 points) was chosen sixth, followed by Kansas State (163 points), Baylor (124 points), Texas Tech (103 points) and Kansas (39 points).
