Big 10 Conference Reverses Course; Will Play Football in the Fall

 

The Big 10 Conference has reversed course and its 14-member schools will play football this fall, instead of after the first of the year.

Big 10 schools will begin playing games on October 24. They will play an eight-game conference schedule. A conference championship game and six consolation games will be played on December 19, the day before the final College Playoff rankings are released.

Members of the Big 10 are Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue, Rutgers and Wisconsin.
