TCU Football Adds Six to Staff

TCU head football coach Sonny Dykes has announced these staff additions:

Joining the Horned Frogs as assistant coaches with the offensive line are Randy Clements and Robert Luce. Brett Cumnock, Aaron Green and Chris Owens will be assistant directors of player personnel.

Clements, widely considered one of the nation's premier offensive line coaches, has nearly 40 years of experience. He served the last three seasons at North Carolina. His previous stops on the collegiate level included North Texas (2020-21), Ole Miss (2020), Florida State (2019), Houston (2018), Southeastern (2017), Baylor (2008-16) and Houston (2003-07). Luce, who played at Missouri, has coached on offense at Texas A&M (2021-24) and North Texas (2015-16) while also working as a recruiting analyst at Oklahoma State (2018-21) and a graduate assistant defensive coach at Houston (2016-18).

Cumnock returns to TCU after serving as a recruiting and player personnel intern during the Horned Frogs' 2022 College Football Playoff season. The Alabama graduate worked the last two years as an assistant director of player personnel/director of scouting at Colorado State.

Green was an All-Big 12 running back for the Horned Frogs. His 1,272 yards rushing in 2015 ranks seventh for a season at TCU. He took part in one of the more memorable plays in program history when he caught a deflected fourth-down pass in the back of the end zone for the game-winning touchdown with 23 seconds remaining to give the No. 3 Horned Frogs a 55-52 win over Patrick Mahomes and Texas Tech in Lubbock in 2015. Green worked the last two seasons at UTSA as an assistant coach with the wide receivers and running backs.

Owens started 20 games while playing in 50 as a standout offensive lineman for Alabama. The Arlington, Texas, native was a member of two national championship teams with the Crimson Tide. Following his professional playing career, he was on the Georgia Tech staff this past season.
