TCU Athletics has announced themed promotional games this upcoming football season for all six home games.
The Horned Frogs home opener on September 7 against Liberty University will be a celebration of Fort Worth with "Cowtown Kickoff." Fans are encouraged to wear purple and white western wear to cheer on the Frogs. Elements outside and inside the stadium will honor Fort Worth heritage. The game begins at 7 pm.
TCU's first meeting with UCF, scheduled for Sept. 14 will be "Traditions Day." Coinciding with TCU Family Weekend, the 6:30 pm game will feature a celebration of Horned Frogs traditions.
On October 4, TCU will host Houston during Hispanic Heritage Month and on a night themed "Noche de las Ranas" (Night of the Frogs). Fans are encouraged to wear black gameday attire. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 pm. In-game elements will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.
The October 26 home game against Texas Tech will be a purple-out game. "Frogs Flashback" will be the theme for a throwback to celebrate TCU's homecoming.
For Oklahoma State's visit to Amon G. Carter Stadium on November 9, TCU will "Hail All Heroes" to celebrate and honor first-responders.
The home finale on November 23 against Arizona will honor the senior class and TCU fans, on "Fan Appreciated Day."
